About Countryside Cosmetics

Countryside Cosmetics is owned by Emma Smyth, an experienced, registered Independent Nurse Prescriber who graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BSc in Adult Nursing (1st Class Hons). Over the years, Emma has built up a wealth of knowledge by working in Accident and Emergency units and Urgent Care settings, throughout Surrey, Hertfordshire and Essex. As a result, safety is an integral part of her practice.

With a long-standing interest in the field of medical aesthetics, and in a bid to work more flexibly to accommodate family life, Emma initially trained with Cosmetic Courses to become an Aesthetic Nurse. Since then, Emma has attended numerous workshops, group courses, 1-2-1 training sessions, cadaver dissection days and national conferences, equipping her with the expert skills required to provide injectable cosmetic treatments for her clients. She later returned to university to achieve her masters level Independent Nurse Prescribing qualification, enabling her to prescribe to her growing client base.

Emma can be found on the Nursing and Midwifery Council register (NMC Pin: 10I3915E), is fully insured by Cosmetic Insurer and is an Associate Member of both the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and of the Aesthetics Expert Complication Group (ACE). Her priority is to deliver a discrete service with subtle but effective outcomes that are tailored to the specific needs of each client.

Ethos

In an industry with such widely variable attitudes and outcomes, Emma prides herself on her honesty regarding treatment suitability. She adopts a ‘less is more’ approach with a focus on facial restoration, health promotion and elegant cosmetic transformations. Emma believes the relationship between client and clinician is just as important as the treatment outcome, and so aims to make each of her clients feel truly at ease during each visit to her clinic.

Why Choose Nurse Emma?

Emma is a highly motivated and qualified individual, with a passion for excellence in the field of medical aesthetics. Her unique artistic flare is fundamental in producing authentic results that compliment the natural beauty of each client.

Emma prides herself on the positive relationships she builds with her clients and regularly receives feedback on her high level of personalised care. With generous time slots allocated, regardless of the chosen treatment, Emma aims to ensure every visit is a calm and relaxing experience.

Emma personally sources the high-quality products and instruments used at Countryside Cosmetics from luxury, medical grade skincare to robust, minimally invasive instruments. All injectable products are sourced directly from leading UK pharmacies to maximise safety, and ensure that each client receives the best experience and results possible.

Based in a tranquil location, Emma aims to create a relaxing and peaceful environment where you can have total peace of mind that you are in safe hands. Emma’s excellent reputation for her gentle injecting technique sets her apart from many other practitioners in the profession, making her an excellent choice for people who suffer with needle phobia, or simply prefer a more gentle touch. Emma is deeply passionate about her role in aesthetics and thoroughly enjoys this rapidly evolving industry.
