COST GUIDE: Your treatment price broken down

Now I love a deal like anyone else, but with injectables, it’s highly advisable to err on the side of caution and consider if something really is too good to be true. And here’s why…

When you pay for an injectable treatment, a large amount of that fee will pay for the product itself. Authentic products purchased from accredited pharmacies and stored in safe temperature controlled environments (not transported on the back of a donkey through the desert and flogged on the black market).

A small amount obviously goes into the practitioner’s pocket to feed their children and splash out on Netflix etc. But where does the rest go?

For those of you who have chosen to spend here at Countryside Cosmetics, here’s what you contribute towards:

  • Regular, high quality training (and good training doesn’t come cheap)… Spot the theme 🤔
  • INSURANCE +++
  • Sterile syringes/gloves/dressing packs for infection prevention
  • Professional memberships (ACE & BACN) for inter-professional support and learning.
  • Complication prevention and GOOD timely management/support.
  • Regulatory body fees: Registered member of the Nursing & Midwifery Council
  • Access to online libraries to access current, relevant research.
  • Occasional advertising to help you all find me 🙋🏼 (Though you can’t beat the value of good old fashioned word of mouth!)
  • And lastly, clinical software to securely store your personal records, medical photos and send you little reminders for you booked treatments.

So when choosing the practitioner for you, make cost a part of the decision for the right reasons and stay safe.
